I'm Captain Gavin, an experienced fishing guide based in the Ozello and Crystal River area of Florida. Having spent my entire life exploring the nature coast, I've developed a deep appreciation for the incredible fishing opportunities found here. Becoming a fishing guide has been a lifelong dream of mine, driven by the desire to share this passion with visitors from across the globe. My journey began as a manatee swim guide, where I gained valuable sea time towards earning my captain's license. This role expanded to captaining manatee tours, eco excursions, and airboat adventures, allowing me to save enough to invest in my own boat and launch my personalized fishing guide service.
Each trip I lead is customized to fit the preferences and skill levels of my clients, targeting specific fish species and catering equally to beginners, families with children, and seasoned anglers. Whether it’s an educational outing or a professional-level fishing expedition, all adventures are private and designed to deliver a memorable and enjoyable experience amidst breathtaking surroundings. You can cancel your booking without any charges if done at least 14 days prior to your adventure, and the amount will be refunded to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of your scheduled trip, the deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being billed to your card.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle for your convenience. However, we advise you to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal gear you'd like to use during the trip.
Join us for an exciting 5-hour snorkeling adventure where you'll encounter a variety of wildlife and have the unique opportunity to gather delicious treats! While exploring underwater, you might spot numerous fish species, stingrays, turtles, seahorses, as well as an array of sponges and corals. Amidst the stunning marine scenery, don't forget to collect Florida Gulf bay scallops— a rare delicacy available for harvesting only three months each year!
All necessary equipment is provided for this snorkeling trip, including masks, snorkels, fins, collection bags, dip nets, buckets, and flotation devices. Additionally, your fishing license is included. To ensure your comfort and safety, bottled water will be supplied throughout the excursion, and a professional swim guide will accompany you in the water, assisting with both swimming and scallop gathering for your group.
