With 15 years of fishing experience in the Punta Cana region, Captain Humberto transformed his fishing passion into a thriving business in February 2013. Starting out with just one boat, he quickly earned a reputation, topping the billfish charts at Marina Cap Cana. By October 2013, his wife Lorraine joined the venture, managing all bookings and administrative duties. In December 2014, a 19-foot Mako bay boat was added to the fleet, offering inshore fishing trips and beach outings focused on family enjoyment within the calm, reef-protected turquoise waters of Punta Cana. These excursions adhere strictly to a catch and release policy to preserve marine life.
Captain Humberto further expanded in June 2015 by introducing a beautiful 42-foot Bertram for offshore fishing adventures. This vessel explores the fertile waters around Punta Cana and Macao, targeting prized white and blue marlin. While the boat offers 4, 6, and 8-hour charters, it is particularly known for its 10-hour trips to Macao during the blue marlin season, which lasts from July through November. Thanks to Captain Humberto’s expertise and dedication, he has built a loyal clientele and achieved ongoing success in the Punta Cana fishing scene. You can cancel without any charges up to 72 hours before your scheduled trip and get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel less than three days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. For cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you fail to show up, the full trip cost will be billed to your card.
Our package covers water, soda, beer, and chips. For trips lasting 7 hours or more, sandwiches are provided. Please remember to bring comfortable clothing, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. All fishing gear is supplied for your convenience.
No need to worry about arranging transportation to the dock on this fishing trip! Captain Humberto will coordinate with a transportation company to pick you up directly from your resort, bring you to the dock, and return you safely after a day on the water.
Captain Humberto’s 38-foot Blackfin is fully equipped to ensure an exceptional fishing adventure. The boat features a professional rocket launcher, top-of-the-line rods and reels, and a selection of natural bait enhanced by vibrant artificial lures and teasers to attract the best catch.
All charters include round-trip transportation with no additional cost for guests staying in the Bávaro/Punta Cana area. The package also covers the captain and crew, all bait and tackle, as well as complimentary water, soda, beer, and snacks. Depending on the duration of the trip, lunch may also be provided.
The captain specializes in targeting various billfish species—including white and blue marlin and sailfish—following a strict catch-and-release policy. For guests interested in keeping their catch, mahi mahi, wahoo, tuna, and rainbow runners are also pursued during the outing.
