In 2017, I relocated to Florida, and in 2021, I fulfilled my dream by earning my captain’s license. Now, I’m thrilled to share my love for fishing and being out on the water with others. I don’t focus on chasing a specific type of fish but rather aim to help everyone enjoy catching something. Using light spinning tackle, even a small catch like a 6-inch snapper feels exciting. For me, the joy comes from the overall experience and having a great time together, not just from landing a trophy fish. You can cancel without any charges up to 7 days prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being billed to your card.

Join Captain Andrew for an exciting bottom fishing experience departing from Port Canaveral! Choose from 4, 6, or 8-hour trips—with the 8-hour option combining both bottom fishing and trolling. Depending on the length of your trip, you’ll travel further offshore, granting access to deeper waters rich with abundant marine life around reefs and shipwrecks, home to some of Florida’s most prized fish.
Captain Andrew’s excursions focus on catching reef and wreck species such as Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Tripletail, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and King Mackerel. Thanks to his expert knowledge of the local waters, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to land these strong and tasty fish.
The fishing takes place aboard a fully-equipped vessel designed for both comfort and effectiveness. The boat includes GPS and a Fishfinder to pinpoint prime fishing spots, a Live Bait Well to ensure fresh bait throughout your trip, and an onboard restroom for convenience during longer outings. This setup is perfectly suited for bottom fishing and handling heavy tackle action.
All fishing equipment is provided as part of your trip fee, so you can leave your gear at home. Captain Andrew supplies rods, reels, tackle, live bait (often caught during the trip), and lures. Your fishing license is also included, allowing you to fully concentrate on your angling adventure. At the conclusion of the trip, Captain Andrew will clean and fillet your catch right at the dock, giving you fresh fish ready to cook at home. Tips for the cleaning service are appreciated but not required.
Simply bring your favorite snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. Don’t forget a cooler to keep your catch fresh on the way back! Trips are welcoming to anglers of all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned pros—ensuring a memorable and enjoyable time on the water.
