Captain Ross, originally from Victoria, TX, has spent much of his career working on the water. He proudly served with the US Navy Construction Battalions, known as the "Seabees," where he received training for construction tasks in aquatic environments and combat zones. Currently, Captain Ross operates his own fishing outfitting business, offering charters departing from Port O'Connor. He also holds an EMT/Paramedic degree from the University of Houston-Victoria. Your guide is adaptable regarding the starting point of your trip.
Ross was punctual and skilled at finding fish. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our outing and plan to book with him again. He was an exceptional guide who tailored the experience to our preferences. Understanding our goal of catching a large fish, he took us to prime spots, resulting in two impressive catches alongside several smaller ones. We look forward to future trips with Ross, who made my son’s birthday weekend truly memorable. A big thank you to Captain Ross!
Captain Ross is friendly and knowledgeable. Despite challenging weather conditions, we still managed to catch keeper-sized redfish and puppy drum. Rain couldn't dampen our spirits as he skillfully kept us on the fish. Ross is a dedicated, hardworking captain who goes above and beyond to ensure a great fishing experience. We also appreciate his service to the country. Looking forward to seeing you again in October, Matt and Jan!
Ron was ready and waiting in the water when we arrived. He was approachable and shared valuable insights about the local waters and fishing spots. We tried around six different locations in search of our target species, which proved elusive that day. Nevertheless, we enjoyed being out on the water and the overall boating experience.
