Captain Barry, originally from Pamlico County, North Carolina, grew up fishing the Neuse River and Core Sound with his father. His boating experience began early, handling the tiller of a 9.9 Evinrude motor, and by 2014, he was regularly venturing offshore from Beaufort Inlet. Though he only recently officially obtained his Captain’s License, Barry brings many years of practical knowledge and enthusiasm for fishing, especially when it results in fresh seafood for the table. Triggerfish is a favorite of his, and he enjoys sharing cooking tips and seafood ideas with his guests.
