Captain Jim has been passionate about fishing for as long as he can recall. He has cast his line throughout the East Coast, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean, boasting more than 27 years of fishing experience specifically around Clearwater, Florida. With 12 years of service in the Coast Guard, Captain Jim feels most at home on or in the water. His ability to bring about an ideal weather day felt almost magical, but we loved it! You can cancel without any fees if you do so at least three days prior to your trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than three days before the trip, your deposit will not be refunded and will go to the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
Please bring snacks and drinks, along with weather-appropriate clothing and sun protection. Don't forget your camera and a cooler to take home your catch. Note: black-soled shoes and spray sunscreen are not allowed.
All necessary fishing equipment is provided, including rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, water, and your fishing license.

Your excursion will take place aboard a 27-foot Pro Cat Catamaran, expertly designed to effortlessly cut through surf and ensure smooth offshore travel. This well-equipped vessel features advanced navigation tools, a live bait tank, comfortable seating, and all the fishing gear you’ll need. The spacious deck allows you plenty of room to move around and chase down your quarry, comfortably accommodating up to six anglers.
Be sure to bring along a cooler with ice to store your fresh catch, as well as sunscreen and a hat for sun protection. Captain Jim supplies all rods, reels, tackle, and refreshments including bottled water and Gatorade. You also have the option to purchase live bait or catch it yourself during the trip.
