Hello, I’m Captain Matt, a dedicated full-time hunting and fishing guide based in north central Wisconsin. I offer guided trips across the region, including popular vacation spots like Minocqua, Eagle River, Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, and Saint Germain. I’m recognized for my expertise in musky fishing, having won the PMTT World Championship three times, making me the most decorated angler in the history of that tournament series.
In addition to musky, I’m passionate about targeting bass, walleye, and trophy panfish, and I consistently fish at a high level for these species throughout northern Wisconsin. During the winter months, I operate a combined duck hunting and fishing business along the Texas coast, and in the spring, I pursue tarpon fishing in southwest Florida.
I am proud to be one of the few full-time guides in the region with a reputation for delivering an exceptional and enjoyable experience focused on landing the fish you’re after. You can cancel without any charges if done at least 14 days prior to your trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of your scheduled trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
Included with your trip are all rods, reels, and tackle. We also suggest packing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal gear you'd like to bring along.
