I'm Captain Josh, and I've been fishing these lakes since I could barely walk. Fishing and hunting have been a huge part of my life, but bow fishing quickly became my passion from the very first try. And trust me, there were plenty of missed shots at the beginning! I’m excited to both teach and learn alongside every person I guide, sharing laughs and sharp shooting alike. I took up alligator hunting a bit later on, and it instantly captivated me—no pun intended. There’s nothing quite like battling a creature older and stronger than you with just a hand-line; it’s an unforgettable challenge I look forward to sharing with you.
Your guide is flexible about where to start your adventure. Communication was excellent from booking right through to the trip day, always prompt and helpful in answering my questions. The guide arrived punctually, well-prepared, and with a boat perfectly suited for the outing. As someone new to this, I appreciated their patience and deep knowledge. Though the wind wasn’t on our side this time, the experience was fantastic, and I'm eager to do it again.

All necessary equipment will be supplied. We offer a selection of drinks and snacks, but we encourage you to bring your personal favorites. Beer is allowed, though it will not be provided on-site. Coolers are available for storing drinks and snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own small cooler or bag.
We also suggest dressing appropriately for the weather and bringing insect repellent. If you have your own equipment, feel free to bring it along. Please remember to bring your own cooler if you plan to keep any fish!
Our trips focus primarily on targeting various species of catfish using bows and gigs, as well as pursuing gar and carp. Each excursion lasts around 4 hours and can accommodate up to 4 participants actively fishing. While the boat holds up to 6 people, only 4 individuals are allowed on the deck at any given time.
If you wish to extend your fishing adventure beyond the standard duration, additional time can be arranged for an extra fee. We provide water on board and have ample space for your personal beverages, snacks, and extra clothing or jackets. Dry boxes are available to keep your belongings safe and dry throughout the trip.
For safety and comfort, closed-toe shoes are highly recommended. You are welcome to bring canned beer; however, it is not supplied as part of the trip. Should you plan to keep any caught fish, please bring a cooler to store them properly.
