Captain Mark began his fishing journey competing in bass tournaments throughout South Central Florida during his late teens. For many years, he focused on freshwater fishing until transitioning to saltwater fishing about 18 years ago. Mark participates in numerous tournament circuits, including the IFA, BBRC, and Florida Pro Redfish series. Beyond competing, he has also served as the director for two of the eight Xtreme Redfish divisions across Florida. Dedicated to giving back, Mark regularly supports several charity tournaments such as “Reelin 4 Kids,” the “Gator Quarterback Touchdown Club,” and the Santa Fe High School’s “Raiders Slam” in the Big Bend region. When not involved in competitions, Mark enjoys taking family and friends out on the water for fishing adventures. He thrives on the challenge of angling and specializes in targeting redfish using artificial lures. A strong supporter of wildlife preservation, Mark practices catch and release whenever feasible. Alongside his partner Ron, Mark earned the 2014 IFA West Coast Division Championship, with hopes of achieving the title again.
Raised in a family of shrimp boat operators, Captain Bobbi grew up on the waters of Crystal River, Florida. At 22, she relocated to Steinhatchee and began participating in local fishing tournaments. What initially was a hobby soon turned into a professional pursuit after winning several competitions. Motivated by her success and passion, she obtained her Captain’s license and entered the charter industry. Together with her husband Mark, she now runs a professional charter service. Captain Bobbi takes pride in introducing anglers and their families to the abundant fishing opportunities found in Florida’s Big Bend area. Whether you're an expert angler or just getting started, a trip with Captain Bobbi promises an enjoyable and memorable experience. You can cancel without any fees up to 14 days prior to your scheduled trip and get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and paid to the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or if you fail to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
