Growing up in Williston, ND, I developed a love for fishing early on, often spending time on the water with my dad. At just six years old, landing an 11-pound walleye sparked a lifelong passion for angling. As a youngster, I eagerly watched fishing programs and spent many weekends casting lines in the nearby rivers. Now at 43, that enthusiasm remains strong—it's true what they say, “the tug is the drug.”
During my time at Moorhead State University, I had an unforgettable experience working for sportfishing outfits in Alaska, exploring the Kenai Peninsula and the waters of Southeast Alaska. It was in Sitka where I met my wife, Natalia, and our journey together took us through several states before we eventually made Denver our home. While working as a Probation Officer brought a sense of purpose, my heart was always drawn back to fishing.
In 2021, seeking a more relaxed lifestyle for our growing family, we relocated to Breezy Point, MN, where I established my guiding business. Along with Natalia and our two boys, Owen and Nico, we cherish spending time outdoors and supporting our community’s small businesses. When I’m not out on the water, I enjoy playing billiards and am proud to be a certified PBIA Instructor.

My dad and the boys had an amazing time and haven't stopped raving about it. It was fun, informative, and exactly what we hoped for. Undoubtedly the highlight of our vacation.
