My bowfishing journey began on the Potomac River in Maryland alongside my younger brother. Over the past 15 years, my passion for it has only grown stronger. I've progressed from using a basic bow equipped with a handheld spotlight powered by a battery to a fully equipped setup. Now, I have a well-outfitted boat featuring some of the top lighting systems available and bows designed for optimum comfort and ease of use. Although I originally moved to Florida for my studies with intentions to relocate to the Carolinas, I quickly fell in love with Florida’s limitless opportunities. This inspired me to earn my captain’s license and pursue a career doing what I truly enjoy. Your guide offers the convenience of choosing a flexible departure point. You can cancel at no cost up to 48 hours prior to your trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 2 days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you fail to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
All necessary gear will be provided; however, we suggest bringing clothing suitable for the weather alongside insect repellent.
Our bowfishing trips begin about 30 minutes before sunset with a thorough safety briefing and bow instruction. We stay on the water until 11 PM, providing all the necessary bows and complimentary cold water bottles onboard. Target species include gar, catfish, and large tilapia, making for an exciting fishing experience.
We fish from a 1872 SeaArk center console boat, outfitted with some of the most advanced lighting systems available, giving us access to fishing spots that many others cannot reach at night. The boat also features a spacious shooting platform that enhances mobility and shooting opportunities, adding to the overall enjoyment of the trip.
Our fishing grounds are located on West Lake Toho in Saint Cloud, Florida, which is the third-largest lake in the state. This vast body of water allows us to explore a wide area and increases the chance of encountering larger fish. Our goal is to provide an exhilarating and memorable experience for all participants.
The 2010 SeaArk Mini Winnie is an 18-foot center console boat powered by a reliable 75 hp Yamaha engine, perfect for an exciting fishing adventure. Its nimble size allows easy maneuverability in both shallow and open waters, making it ideal for reaching your favorite fishing spots quickly. While it doesn't include a restroom, the compact design maximizes open deck space, providing anglers ample room for casting and reeling. This boat's sturdy construction ensures stability and durability, so you can enjoy your fishing trip with confidence.
