Located at North Point Marina in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, just a short 45-minute drive north of Chicago, the Bama Breeze offers salmon and trout fishing excursions from April through October aboard a 40-foot sport fishing vessel. Captain Josh, a lifelong Illinois native and avid outdoorsman, brings extensive experience to the operation, having held senior leadership roles such as Head of Operations and COO at well-known outdoor companies including Mystery Tackle Box and Googan Squad. While he spends weekdays in a corporate setting, weekends find him captaining the Bama Breeze, dedicated to delivering exceptional fishing adventures. You can cancel at no cost if done at least 14 days prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip amount being charged to your card.

Anglers need to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, warm clothing, an Illinois fishing license with a Salmon stamp, plus any personal snacks or drinks. Don’t forget a cooler to keep your catch fresh. For your convenience, Josh offers cleaning services for any keeper fish for an additional charge.
