Your fishing experience will primarily involve trolling, a technique perfect for attracting the swift and powerful Salmon species that aggressively strike fast-moving lures and baits. When a big Salmon bites, get ready for an exhilarating fight that will test your skill and stamina. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to fish in the deeper, colder regions of the lake where massive Lake Trout dwell, by dropping your lines down to those depths. Whatever your catch of choice, Captain Chris is highly skilled at locating, hooking, and battling fish in these rich waters.
Fishing takes place aboard Captain Chris’s 32-foot Coastal WellCraft sportfisher, a comfortable and well-equipped boat designed for a great day on the water. It features a climate-controlled cabin to keep you comfortable year-round—cool during summer and warm in the cooler months. All necessary gear, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle, will be provided by your captain. At the trip’s end, Chris and his crew will even clean and package your catch for you. Your job is simply to bring a Wisconsin fishing license with the required stamps, a cooler stocked with snacks and beverages, appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and a positive attitude.
