Relocating to Key West, Florida, in 1990, Captain Mike committed himself full-time to guiding fishing excursions in the area. In addition to operating charters around Key West, he participates in top-tier fishing tournaments throughout the region, including those in the Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, and various spots across the Florida Keys. Previously, he owned the Jack Tar 2, a 52-foot Buddy Cannady Custom Carolina sportfishing vessel. Today, Captain Mike specializes in light tackle fishing from his 37-foot SeaHunter center console, focusing on the waters surrounding Key West.
With over two decades of local fishing experience, Captain Mike has become one of the leading authorities on the habits and behaviors of regional fish species. You can cancel without any fees up to 14 days prior to your scheduled trip and get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of the trip, the deposit paid to the guide will not be refunded. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in a charge for the full trip amount on your card.
