Originally hailing from Georgia, I’m proud to now call Rhode Island, also known as the Ocean State, my home. As a dedicated member of The Kayak Centre of Rhode Island’s fishing team and a part of the Hobie fishing crew, my enthusiasm for fishing is evident every day. I enjoy exploring both freshwater and saltwater environments, embracing the diverse challenges each offers. Although I started fishing a bit later than most, my relentless curiosity and commitment to learning everything about the sport have shaped me into the versatile angler I am today. I’m eager to share my insights and expertise with you. You can rest assured knowing that your guide is CPR certified and prepared for your safety. Additionally, I offer flexible starting points for your convenience. One guest shared their experience: "Had an amazing trip with Dustin. He was patient, knew the best spots, and had a great sense of humor. I will definitely be booking again the next time I’m in the States."
You can cancel at no cost up to 10 days prior to your trip and get a credit added to your account. If you cancel within 10 days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and paid to the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip amount being charged to your card.
We strongly suggest you pack water, snacks, comfortable clothes suitable for getting wet, sunscreen, and any medications you may require.
We are excited to offer Rhode Island’s very first kayak fishing charter service! Anglers have the option to select from freshwater or saltwater excursions. The booking price covers everything you need—except for your fishing license. Our trips are conducted using pedal-driven kayaks, allowing you to keep your hands free for fishing.
During saltwater trips, you can expect to target species such as striped bass, bluefish, false albacore, bonito, tautog, summer flounder, black sea bass, weakfish, and more. Freshwater trips focus on species like largemouth bass, carp, crappie, and trout.
Most outings begin at dawn, though occasionally weather or water conditions may necessitate a later start time. While we cannot guarantee the number or size of fish caught, we promise an exceptional kayak fishing experience where you’ll learn and master essential techniques and gain valuable knowledge of the local fishery.
We eagerly await the chance to share the water with you!
