I've been exploring the local bays and waterways through fishing, crabbing, and clamming for nearly five decades. My journey began at the age of 13, piloting a 15' Boston Whaler, and now I navigate a 21' Sailfish center console. In the spring, I usually target Stripers and Tog, with flounder season kicking off in May. As summer temperatures rise, I venture beyond the bay to the nearshore reefs to pursue flounder and sea bass when they're in season. When bunker schools show up, I enjoy snagging and dropping lines for sharks and cobia. As the water cools down, striped bass fishing picks up again, with tides playing a crucial role in planning trips. Migratory fish typically arrive in December, so bundle up and get ready to catch some hefty stripers.
Our family had an amazing time fishing with Jeff. We brought along our 7-year-old granddaughter, and thanks to Jeff’s patient guidance with her fishing rod and ensuring she got to see each catch up close, she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We landed six flounder plus a variety of other fish species. Jeff was excellent with communication and scheduling our trip to match ideal conditions. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking a personalized fishing adventure. Jeff truly made our flounder fishing trip memorable. Thank you, Richard, and we hope to fish with you again next summer!

This fishing trip lasts approximately 4 hours, with the start time largely determined by the tides, so flexibility is essential. Be sure to consult the captain for optimal scheduling.
The main catch we're after is Striped Bass, though you might occasionally encounter bluefish or weakfish.
Fishing methods include casting artificial lures near the banks, drifting with live bait, or anchoring using cut bait.
Please note that the boat does not have restroom facilities, so plan accordingly. Remember to bring your own lunch and drinks.
We will fish around Egg Harbor Inlet and the Egg Harbor River. In late fall, when migratory fish arrive, the trip will move out to the ocean.
