After many years in the corporate world, Captain Ira made the bold decision to leave his office behind for the open sea—and he has never regretted it. Boasting more than 20 years of experience navigating the waters around Cape Ann, he has earned a reputation for his determination, expertise, and that genuine maritime charisma that only a seafarer possesses. His background spans working full-time on offshore draggers, trapping lobsters year-round, and serving as deckhand for some of New England’s most respected captains, giving him a deep familiarity with these waters few can match.
Now, Captain Ira leads fully guided fishing trips departing from Gloucester, targeting impressive Bluefin Tuna, Haddock, Cod, and other species. Whether you’re interested in a short half-day excursion or an extended overnight offshore journey, you’ll be guided by someone whose passion for the sea is clear. Wishing you tight lines and looking forward to welcoming you aboard!
