About Your Guide

With over three decades of fishing expertise, Captain Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to every charter. Originally from California, he relocated to Texas in 1976 and has been leading fishing excursions for more than 20 years, establishing himself as a true expert of the local waters. Experience wade fishing alongside Captain Scott in Port O'Connor, targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, and other species, or venture into freshwater lakes for the challenge of catching large East Texas bass!

Our trip was incredible, even though we knew it was off-season and the weather was chilly. Despite these challenges, we managed to land several hefty catfish. Captain DJ was fantastic—professional, engaging, and gracious enough to extend our time on the water so we could increase our catch. Huge thanks to DJ for making this outing memorable for my friends and me!

Captain Scott truly stands out in the best way possible. His attention to detail, spotless boat, and expert guidance on reeling in Amberjack made all the difference, especially since those fish are known for their fierce fight. He also captured amazing photos and videos of our adventure. He took us to prime locations for mahi mahi and Amberjack, making it one of the most rewarding fishing trips I've ever experienced. I highly recommend booking through Captain Experiences; their guides are professional and cooperative, leading us to fish right away.

For a corporate event, I reserved two boats, and everything went perfectly as planned. It was a premium experience from start to finish, exceeding all expectations.

Join Scott for an exciting 6-hour fishing adventure on Lake Nacogdoches, where you'll have the chance to catch Blue Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, and White Bass in freshwater waters.

Largemouth Bass are the lake's most sought-after game fish, thanks to their abundant population. Prepare yourself for some impressive catches—Lake Nacogdoches is famous for producing trophy-sized bass, with recorded catches exceeding 13 pounds on three occasions. While Crappie and catfish are also in the lake, their numbers are lower, so these species will be less of a primary target during your trip.

Scott is a friendly and experienced guide who will not only help you reel in large fish but also assist you in sharpening your fishing techniques throughout the day.

You’ll fish from Scott’s 25-foot Skeeter center console boat, which features GPS, a fishfinder, and a live bait well, comfortably fitting up to six anglers. Don’t forget to bring your valid Texas fishing license, along with your preferred food and beverages (please avoid glass containers), a hat, sunscreen, and some great company. Scott will provide all the remaining gear and services, including fish cleaning for an additional fee.
