Captain Leon, a Florida native, has a deep passion for both the water and the wilderness. When not out fishing, he enjoys exploring the woods. After many years spent on the water, he made the decision to pursue a career as a captain. In 2014, he embarked on this path and became a fishing guide. His primary mission is to share his knowledge and love of fishing and hunting with others. Captain Leon especially values the opportunity to guide veterans—who have sacrificed greatly for our country—as well as children. He strongly believes in encouraging young people to experience the outdoors and discover the wonders of nature.
He is also very accommodating when it comes to your starting location. The initial payment made for this journey cannot be refunded unless the trip is canceled due to weather conditions. If you cancel on the day of the trip or fail to show up, your card will be charged for the entire trip amount.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle for your convenience. However, we suggest you also bring sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal gear you'd like to use during the trip.

Leon is enthusiastic about sharing his expert techniques, ensuring that guests of all ages, including children, enjoy a rewarding and family-friendly fishing experience.
Fishing takes place aboard Leon’s 21-foot flats boat, which comfortably seats up to five guests. Powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine, the boat can reach speeds up to 35 knots and is specifically designed for the lake environments. Equipped with a quiet wireless trolling motor, it ensures minimal disturbance to fish. The vessel includes modern navigation and safety features such as GPS, a fishfinder, life jackets, fire extinguishers, first-aid supplies, and a CPR-certified crew. For convenience, the boat also has an anchoring system and an icebox to keep your catch fresh until you return to shore.
On the trip, Leon will guide you through prime fishing spots where you’ll target Specks (Crappie) and Largemouth Bass. All fishing gear—including rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and artificial lures—is provided. Additionally, Leon offers a cleaning and filleting service, allowing you to take home a perfectly prepared catch for your meal. Guests only need to bring their own food and beverages to enjoy during the outing.
