As a lifelong Florida resident, I bring two decades of experience fishing the waters around Bradenton and Anna Maria Island, along with ten years serving as a licensed charter captain. My true passion lies in introducing children to the outdoors—there’s nothing quite like seeing their beaming smiles and the energy they bring aboard. I enjoy all forms of fishing; before becoming a guide, I was deeply involved in bass tournaments, competing in FLW and B.A.S.S events throughout the southeastern U.S.

You can cancel without any charges up to three days before your scheduled trip and get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel within three days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or if you fail to show up will result in the full trip amount being billed to your payment method.
All necessary gear will be provided. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, attire suitable for the weather, and any additional personal items you may want for the trip.
This trip is designed for the dedicated angler focused exclusively on targeting Tarpon. Our favorite method is sight fishing for Tarpon along the beaches of Anna Maria.
We typically use live bait, such as crabs and large baitfish, to attract these powerful fish. On some occasions, we also use cut bait in the passes to increase our chances.
Tarpon are among Florida's most prized sport fish, renowned for their spectacular acrobatics when hooked. Picture a thrilling 20 to 30-minute battle, with an 80 to 150-pound Tarpon repeatedly launching itself airborne, putting on an unforgettable show.
