About Your Guide

Captain Jason’s passion for fishing started early, casting lines from the freshwater lakes of Central Florida to the saltwater shores of Cedar Key. Whether pursuing bass, redfish, trout, cobia, or sharks, he finds joy in being on the water and delights in sharing his knowledge with others. Grateful for his opportunities to embrace the outdoors, Jason loves witnessing the thrill people experience when they catch fish and enjoy nature firsthand.

Cedar Key has held a special place in Jason’s heart since childhood. From fishing off the local pier with his grandparents to later taking his own family out on his boat, he has always been captivated by the excitement of each cast, never knowing what it might bring. He is passionate about passing on this love of fishing and the outdoors, seeing the joy on others’ faces when they hook a fish and bring it onboard. For Jason, helping people experience the wonder of the natural world is more than a job—it’s a lifelong passion.

The phrase “One More Cast” sums up his approach perfectly. It reflects the mystery and possibility in every cast—whether it’s landing a prized catch or simply giving you a moment to reflect. No matter where you want to begin your adventure, Jason is flexible and ready to accommodate your preferences.

Having fished extensively and understanding the industry well, I can attest to Jason’s expertise. He is knowledgeable, hardworking, and attentive, knowing exactly which baits and tackle setups work best for various fish species. His support and guidance ensure both beginners and seasoned anglers have a memorable trip. We are eager to fish with him again and highly recommend his services to all fishing enthusiasts.
