About Your Guide

With 28 years of experience holding a USCG Masters License for charter fishing, I take great pleasure in introducing newcomers to the joys of fishing. There’s nothing quite like helping first-time anglers land a memorable catch! We especially enjoy family outings where everyone gets involved and has fun reeling in fish together.

Our approach varies depending on the target species. For bluefish, we offer early morning trips that will surprise you with the size of some of these giants found right in the bay! When it comes to striped bass, we often find success when it’s least expected. During the fall, we keep things dynamic by combining different techniques—from trolling with spoons and umbrellas to live lining and using poppers—all in one exciting trip to maintain nonstop action.

For offshore trips, we rely on up-to-date Roffs forecasts and consult with our clients to determine the best fishing spots. We love seeing you catch fish so much that sometimes we lose track of time simply enjoying the excitement. Your guide is happy to accommodate flexible start locations to suit your needs.

Frank is an exceptional guide with unparalleled knowledge of the local waters, ensuring you have an outstanding day on the water!

Embark on an exciting offshore trolling expedition with Captain Frank, dedicated to chasing monstrous Bluefin Tuna and offering chances to hook Marlin and Mahi Mahi along the way.

Your adventure begins early as you head beyond the 30-line to explore the productive offshore waters where Bluefin Tuna commonly roam. Once on site, Captain Frank will deploy a well-planned spread and commence trolling—a highly effective method for covering large areas and increasing your chances of landing these formidable pelagic predators. While Bluefin remain the main focus, depending on the season and conditions, you might also encounter Marlin or Mahi Mahi.

During the return trip, timing permitting, you may have the opportunity to fish around floating debris or lobster pots, where Mahi Mahi often patrol the edges. These vibrant fish can be a rewarding addition to your catch when present.

You’ll fish aboard a 30-foot Sea Hunt Gamefish 30 center console, a robust and comfortable platform designed for offshore trolling. Equipped with outriggers, advanced electronics, and all essential fishing gear, this boat is fully prepared for serious angling. For your convenience on longer trips, a restroom is also available onboard.

Captain Frank supplies top-tier rods, reels, and trolling equipment. Depending on the day's strategy, live bait might be used—feel free to inquire ahead of time regarding bait specifics to be well prepared.

Anglers are encouraged to keep a share of their catch within legal size and bag limits. A fish cleaning service is provided at the dock, allowing you to return home effortlessly with fresh fillets.

If your goal is to cover offshore waters in pursuit of Bluefin Tuna and savor the excitement of trolling in the deep ocean, this trip presents an excellent opportunity to target these giants in the vast blue expanse.
