About Your Guide

With over a decade of fishing expertise, Carson is a highly skilled angler dedicated to helping others improve their fishing success. Having fished across more than 25 states and with experience competing at the collegiate level, he combines extensive knowledge and technique on every adventure. Carson’s proficiency with cutting-edge fishing technology and forward-facing sonar distinguishes him, whether you’re after impressive largemouth bass or a bounty of crappie. Each outing is tailored to your objectives, abilities, and the goal of having an enjoyable day on the water.

If you're eager to set a new personal record, gather fish for your next gathering, or simply enjoy an exciting day fishing, Carson is ready to make it happen. He also offers flexibility with your starting point. Customers praise Carson not only for his friendliness but also for his deep understanding of Lake Tillery’s fishing patterns. He shares valuable insights about fish behavior and how it affects the likelihood of a successful catch. His use of live scan technology is a highlight, allowing anglers to observe fish movements in real-time, boosting the chances of hooking a catch.

Many recommend Carson for guided fishing trips, appreciating not just his boat and equipment but his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience. His friendly approach sets a comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved. Some guests have noted that the layout of the live scan system at the front of the boat can feel cramped when two people try to use it simultaneously, suggesting that future setups could improve access for all clients.

In one experience, although Carson caught all the 13 fish, he expressed understanding when a client felt disappointed about not catching them personally, emphasizing the unpredictability of fishing. He encourages active participation, noting that his boat comfortably accommodates three anglers fishing upfront, as demonstrated by many previous guests. Sometimes, the outcome depends on the willingness to engage and try different fishing spots, especially since fish tend to be offshore in certain seasons. Despite challenges, Carson remains committed to providing an enjoyable and educational experience.

Following every trip, Carson values feedback and is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. His professionalism, courtesy, and extra effort consistently leave lasting memories for those who fish with him. Many describe their time with Carson as unforgettable, praising his dedication and expertise throughout the adventure.
