About Your Guide

Captain Scott, a native of Florida, has chosen Boca Grande, Pine Island, and Charlotte Harbor as his prime fishing grounds. He spends the entire year fishing these waters to ensure his guests enjoy an unparalleled angling adventure. His services cover a broad range of fishing styles, including Backcountry fishing, Flats fishing, Boca Grande Tarpon trips, Near shore wreck exploration, and light tackle sport fishing. Dedicated to delivering an outstanding experience, Captain Scott has honed his skills to locate the finest fishing spots and uses top-notch equipment to enhance every outing.

As a fully licensed and insured USCG OUPV Captain, Captain Scott keeps current with all local laws and safety regulations. He prioritizes the safety of his guests by carrying more than the standard safety gear, ensuring a secure and well-prepared day on the water. His custom-built 24' Proline boat features an ultra-shallow draft, perfect for navigating the flats and backcountry areas while comfortably accommodating up to four passengers. The vessel is powered by a dependable 2018 200hp Yamaha Four Stroke engine, and outfitted with advanced electronics from Simrad, a Powerpole anchor system, a Motor Guide Wireless Trolling Motor, and a 60-gallon live bait well to keep all baitfish lively for a productive fishing day.

On board, anglers will find premium tackle including equipment from Daiwa and AVET Reels, fresh braided lines, and some of the most reliable hooks available. This attention to quality tackle means that when the chance arises to hook the fish of a lifetime, you can trust your gear won’t let you down. Captain Scott is flexible regarding start locations and is known for his personable approach. He recently guided a group of four, including two young children—one just five years old—and showed great patience and enthusiasm by engaging with everyone and explaining fish species as they were caught. During that trip, they successfully landed ten different fish species, along with exciting encounters with sharks and tarpon.

For anyone seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and highly skilled fishing captain, Captain Scott comes highly recommended for delivering memorable and rewarding fishing experiences.
