With years of experience as both a tournament and offshore angler, I transformed my love for fishing into a thriving business. Having spent my childhood fishing in Jacksonville and Venice, Florida, I have now been living in Venice full-time for the past seven years. Before dedicating myself entirely to guiding, I worked as a marina manager, service manager, and technician for Mercury Marine at Lake X. Being a guide allows me to connect with people from all walks of life and introduce them to the incredible fishing opportunities the Gulf provides. As a family-operated enterprise, I look forward to involving my children in charters and tournament events in the near future. You can cancel at no cost if you do so at least 5 days prior to your trip and receive a credit added to your account. If you cancel within 5 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and given to the guide. Canceling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in a charge for the entire trip amount to your card.
All essentials are provided, but we suggest packing sunglasses, sunscreen, suitable clothing for the weather, and any additional items you may want for your trip.
Venture up to 55 miles offshore, where even experienced anglers will find thrilling and challenging fish to catch. Along with the primary species targeted throughout the trip, there is also the exciting possibility of encountering Sailfish, African Pompano, or Wahoo during their seasonal appearances. Customers are responsible for bringing their own food and beverages, though we provide ice and coolers to keep everything fresh. Please note, we request that you do not bring or apply spray sunscreen onboard.
The fishing takes place aboard a 30-foot Seahunter, fully outfitted with outriggers, downriggers, a trolling motor with spot lock, radar, an EPIRB, and a restroom for your comfort. If desired, a mate can be arranged for extra assistance during the trip. Once the adventure concludes, we will carefully clean and bag your catch for you.
The 2011 Seahunter 30-foot center console boat, named "Reel Family," is designed for the ultimate fishing experience. Powered by twin 300 hp Yamaha engines, this boat delivers impressive speed and reliability on the water. Equipped with a trolling motor and advanced fishing gear such as outriggers, downriggers, and dual transom livewells, anglers can target a variety of species with ease. The onboard restroom adds convenience for extended trips, while the stereo system, GPS, radar, and EPIRB ensure safety and entertainment. Spacious and well-equipped, the "Reel Family" offers a comfortable and efficient platform for both serious anglers and family fishing outings.
