About Your Guide

Captain Cade is a seasoned master captain holding a 100-ton license, with fishing experience in the Gulf and Mobile Bay that stretches back to his earliest memories. From his teenage years, he was drawn to the life of a charter fisherman, beginning as a deckhand at just 16 years old. Cade also competed in Blue Marlin tournaments, achieving notable placements along the way.

After earning a degree in construction management, Captain Cade recognized his true passion lies within the nearshore and inshore fisheries found in Mobile Bay. Spending a day fishing with him promises an unforgettable adventure. He aims to maximize your time on the water, ensuring not only a great experience but also a successful catch. His preferred species include Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tripletail, Red Snapper, and Cobia.

Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, Captain Cade welcomes anglers of all skill levels. There's nothing he enjoys more than seeing the joy on a fisherman's face when they bring their catch aboard. Captain Cade is eager to help you land that once-in-a-lifetime fish, and he offers flexible departure points to accommodate your plans.

Many guests have praised their trips with Captain Cade. His crew is known for their knowledge, friendliness, and making each outing both productive and fun. Clients have caught numerous fish and appreciated Cade's professionalism and ability to keep the lines in the water. He is highly recommended for both short trips and full-day adventures. Families, including young children, have enjoyed the experience, especially noting how comfortable and engaging the trips are.

While most experiences are positive, Captain Cade always strives to deliver the best possible trip even under challenging conditions such as bait shortages or difficult weather. He communicates clearly and tries to adjust plans to maximize fishing opportunities. Feedback is welcomed and responded to thoughtfully, with an emphasis on ensuring everyone has a memorable time on the water.

Once we’re settled and all your belongings are safely stored in dry compartments, we’ll set out for the Mobile Bay or, weather permitting, venture into the Gulf. Captain Cade will begin by asking about your fishing objectives for the day—whether you aim to catch the highest number of fish or if you prefer targeting a specific species to cross off your bucket list. Using his extensive local knowledge and fishing expertise, Captain Cade will guide you toward meeting your goals.

Captain Cade’s vessel is a 26-foot custom-built Gause boat, renowned for its smooth ride and spacious layout. It’s equipped with top-of-the-line electronics and features designed to maximize your fishing experience. The boat includes a folding Bimini top to provide shade during hot days on the water, and bean bags are used during transit to fishing spots to ensure your comfort. The flat deck design means the surrounding gunwale height ranges from knee to thigh level, enhancing safety for children and those who may be new to boating or regaining their sea legs.

Whether your plan is to pursue redfish in the shallow flats, seek out Red Snapper offshore, or anything between, this charter company is dedicated to working as hard as you do to make your fishing adventure memorable.
